Waterlife Pond Buffer adjusts and stabilises pond water pH to 7.2 creating ideal conditions for most pond fish and plants that prefer a neutral pH. It is a safe and easy powder treatment, ideal for anyone wanting a quick-fix for a pH crash or for regular preventative doses.

It will increase the pH to 7.2 in low acidic pH ponds and decrease pH to 7.2 in high alkaline pH ponds.  It increases the buffering capacity of the water to stabilise the pH, so even if it takes a few doses to correct your levels, once it gets to 7.2 it should stay there! It is a true buffer, once the correct amount is added pH 7.2 stability will be achieved- it will not lower the pH below 7.1 or raise it above 7.3 

Dosage: 20g per 750 litres (if there are no fish in the pond, add the dose straight to the water but if there are fish in you'll need to dilute it in a bucket first then add it gradually so you don't stress the fish).  If your pH is several degrees too high or low, you will need to add several doses over several days to correct the levels safely and gradually.
