The Juwel Multilux LED tubes are uniquely compatible with the Juwel MultiLux LED Light Units that are now supplied as standard with the Rio, Vision, Lido and Trigon LED aquarium sets. Light units are also available separately as an upgrade to the original T8 or T8 generations and the new LED MultiLux units are completely compatible with the existing lid and flap sets. You can't put LED tubes in a T5 or T8 Unit, or vice versa your old school tubes into a new LED unit - the technology isn't the same and it would be like putting petrol in a diesel car!
Your original light unit came with a Day (white daylight effect) and Nature (warm sunshine effect) tube but you could choose to swap one of the above for a Colour tube which enhances reds and blues in your fish.
