The Juwel EasyFeed is a simple but reliable option for feeding your fish while you are on holiday, or even day-to-day if you would rather have the responsibility of feeding and portion-control taken off your hands!

It can be programmed to feed twice a day, 6 hours apart - a drum full of food rotates at at set time and dispenses the amount of food you train it to do.  This involves a bit of trial-and-error, practising over a pieve of paper until you are happy with the amount that sprinkles out when you press the button. It's a simple as too much food= you need to side the drum hole to make it narrower, and not enough food= make the drum hole bigger.  The manual button can be used for practising like this and to give the fish feeds easily at feeding times even when you are home.

It works best with granules or pellets, but can be easily hooked up to an air pump if you want to use flakes (without the ventilation, flakes tend to go spongy and fail to sprinkle out when the drum rotates).  Batteries included.  It is compatible with all Juwel aquarium models, and can be used on other brands of tank so long as you can balance it safely with the rotating drum over the water.
